From the archives, 1943: Typhoid outbreak in the suburbs of Melbourne

In March 1943 the Age was reporting on an outbreak of typhoid fever in the Cheltenham-Moorabbin area. In a four month period over four hundred people were infected and before the epidemic was over twenty had died.
