From the Archives, 1986: Bomb blasts Turkish embassy in South Yarra

In 1986, a car-bombing at the Turkish consulate in South Yarra shattered windows, started fires and ripped a 1.2m wide hole in the concrete floor of the building. An unidentified man who police suspect planted the bomb was killed in the blast.
