A Florida man was arrested in a joint operation between the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office aviation unit and deputies after climbing a cellular tower in Riverview, Florida, on Sunday, February 24. According to the sheriff’s office, the man had previously been live-streaming the climb to his social media. Footage posted by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office shows the man climbing down the tower and getting arrested on the ground. “You made it all the way to the top, top?” an officer can be heard asking the suspect while arresting him. “Yeah,” the subject can be heard responding as he is being placed in handcuffs. “That’s pretty crazy,” the deputy says.
