Late pop icon George Michael has been immortalised by the United Kingdom’s Royal Mint, appearing on a special commemorative coin.
The Wham! co-founder appears in his signature sunglasses with a refrain from his hit song Faith.
The coin’s designer believes it captures his charismatic expression.
George Michael Entertainment says it is “deeply honoured by the tribute”.
They said George would have been “enormously proud and genuinely touched”.
